Matti Suuronen presented in 1968 the prototype for de “Future” house, an idea of cabin made in polyester reinforced with fiberglass and which oval shape is framed within the artistic movement of the 70s. With a size of 8 m (diameter) per 4 m (height), the house could be easily transported thanks to its reduced weigh, being even delivered to some of the destinies by helicopter. Similarly, the 16 modular pieces of which was composed could be loaded in a truck or train and later on assembled in its destiny. The article analyses the Futuro House as the paradigm of the no-place architecture, which relation with the surroundings, due to its quasi extra-terrestrial shape and the lightness by how its legs touch the ground, is minimum. Its body of snow-white shiny plastic stands out in the landscape around it as a landed spaceship, sometimes literally, in the middle of a forest. The units that today still exist are a living testimony of the first plastic house sold worldwide.
