Abstract

During the early hours of September 29, 2006, five teams of volunteers, led by the URO1.ORG Cooperative, carried out a signage action to draw attention to the Diego Portales Building. Five false signs indicate, through an isotype, an arrow and a text, that the Gabriela Mistral Metropolitan Cultural Center is nearby. The signs are an instruction, an invitation to move, which reveals a history and activates links that can become the driving force of programmatic and spatial changes.
